The Stupa Circuit
Boudhanath's massive white dome spins prayer wheels at every hour; the evening kora (circumambulation) is the local ritual. Swayambhunath — the Monkey Temple — adds the 365-step climb and the valley view.
The Living Squares
Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur each hold a Durbar Square of carved wooden temples and living goddesses. The 2015 earthquake damaged some — the reconstructions are part of the story.
The Himalaya Window
Nagarkot's sunrise reveals the range on clear mornings (October–March best). The 90-minute drive from Kathmandu is the cheapest Himalaya panorama on earth.
