Florence in 48 hours is a bookings problem with a beautiful solution: Brunelleschi's dome climb and the Uffizi both run timed entries that sell out days ahead — book them first, then build the days around them. Day one is the dome and David; day two is the Uffizi and Oltrarno.
At roughly €130 a day, the trip runs about €260 excluding flights. The center is thirty minutes on foot end to end — the only real cost is the queue discipline.

Day One: The Dome & David

Day 2: The Uffizi & Oltrarno
The Uffizi at its booked hour — Botticelli's Venus and Primavera in the same room — then Oltrarno's artisan workshops, the Santo Spirito piazza, and Piazzale Michelangelo's sunset.

- The dome climb and the Uffizi both need timed tickets — book 1–3 weeks out.
